Oh My Ghost Movie Synopsis: An aspiring adult filmmaker and his girlfriend explore a haunted bungalow located in a small village, not realizing that he had a past that has led him to a ghost, who was once a powerful queen.

Oh My Ghost Movie Review: What do you expect from a film in which the main characters are aspiring adult film directors? Objectification of women and a few absurd comic one-liners are the major elements that we get to witness in this badly written-horror comedy. We are forced to sit through it with a flat face as none of the scenes invoke any kind of emotion. Even the jump scares aren't effective enough to keep us engaged even for a short period of time.

Bharathi (Sathish) is an aspiring adult filmmaker. Trouble begins when he and his friend (Ramesh Thilak) happen to invite a ghost to their home in an inebriated state. Bharathi learns that the only way to solve this issue is by visiting a haunted bungalow located in a nearby village. He takes his girlfriend Sowmya (Dharsha Gupta) to the bungalow that once belonged to Mayasena (Sunny Leone), a powerful queen who lived many centuries ago.

The second half is all about Mayasena's story and why her spirit is desperate to invite Bharathi to her palace. But Mayasena's backstory is badly written, which makes it impossible for us to connect with the characters on screen. The only thing is that the investors have spent a huge amount on its making, and it's quite evident in the second half.

Another miserable thing that we are subjected to is the jarring background score. The action sequences are choreographed well, and Sunny Leone does justice to her role, though the writing hardly gives her any scope to showcase her performance. Yogi Babu's sequences, too, don't help the plot in any way. Dharsha Gupta's performance is good, but it's grating to see her being part of such films that objectify women in the name of horror comedy.
